Dr. Rohit Rao is an accomplished Ophthalmologist with extensive training and expertise in anterior segment and oculoplasty surgeries. He completed his MBBS from JNMC, Wardha, Maharashtra, in 2010 and pursued his MS in Ophthalmology from JSS Medical College, Mysore, Karnataka, in 2015. Further refining his skills, he underwent a long-term fellowship in IOL and Anterior Segment at Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore, in 2017.

Dr. Rao has also completed a short-term DCR fellowship at Sankara Eye Hospital, Coimbatore, and an oculoplasty observership at the prestigious LV Prasad Eye Hospital, Hyderabad. He is proficient in managing oculoplasty disorders such as dacryocystitis, ptosis, and other related conditions.

In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Rao has actively contributed to ophthalmic research, presenting multiple national and international papers, videos, and e-posters. Currently, he plays a significant role in training new surgeons at Shri Ganesh Vinayak Eye Hospital, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, ensuring the next generation of ophthalmologists is well-prepared to deliver quality eye care. His dedication to patient care and medical education exemplifies his commitment to the field of ophthalmology.
